The lettering shall include the firm name, town name, phone number and septage management firm number as shown on the firm application. All lettering required by this Rule on the pumper vehicle shall be no less than three inches in height and legible, distinguishable from the background, and not obstructed from view. Identification shall not be removable (i.e. no magnetic signs). Vehicle tag#HK5530, VIN# correct per the firm application, 900 gallons. – “Site Solutions” in the firm name is less than three inches on both sides of this vehicle. Also the “0” in the permit number NCS-01183 is missing on both sides of this vehicle. Vehicle tag#FD8434, Vin# correct per the firm application, 1000 gallons – “Site Solutions” in the firm name and the phone number are less than three inches on the driver side of this vehicle. Vehicle tag#YA121426, VIN# correct per the firm application, 2200 gallons – the phone number is very faint on both sides of this vehicle. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 Vehicle tag#JM8117, New vehicle, VIN#1FDVF4HY6KEC15398, 300 gallons – “Site Solutions” in the firm name and the phone number are less than three inches on both sides of this vehicle. Also the town name & permit number are located at the hose reel and at times may be obstructed from view. Vehicle Florida tag#882-MPP, VIN#1GBE5C1266F408778, 500 gallons – “Site Solutions” in the firm name and the phone number are less than three inches on both sides of this vehicle. Vehicle (from Jacksonville location) tag#JL9165, VIN#1HTMMAAL2AH247613, 1000 gallons. There is no town name currently displayed on this vehicle. For this vehicle to be used at the Johnston county location it shall display the town name of “Clayton” and the permit number “NCS-01183” on both sides at three inches in height or greater. If it is to be relocated to Jacksonville then that town name shall be displayed. Correct the lettering on each of these vehicles within 30 days to be in compliance with Rule .0835(b). Inform this office when this has been accomplished. The tanks on these vehicles appeared structurally sound & securely attached. Outlet covers were on and no drips/leaks were noted. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The name listed on the last firm application is “Blu Site Solutions of North Carolina, Inc.” The name displayed on the vehicles is “Blu Site Solutions”. Mr. Gaskins corrected the firm application to show the firm name displayed - the application was sent to the Raleigh Central Office for permit correction. 2. Inspected vehicle tag#FK2399, correct VIN# per the application, 750 gallons. Inspected new vehicle tag#JM8038, VIN#5PBNJ8JV1K4S74721, 1100 gallons On both vehicles the tanks were structurally sound & securely attached. Outlet covers were on and no drips/leaks were noted. The lettering was correct on both sides of both vehicles per the information on the firm application. These two vehicles are in compliance at this time. 3. Truck logs were reviewed at this time. It appears that the required information is being maintained however the actual name of the WWTP used for final disposal needs to be clarified in the logs. 4. This office shall be informed of any new trucks that are added to this location or any trucks that are repainted so that an inspection may be performed. 5. Thank you for your time. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
