FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Met with Karry to gain access to the facility. The boiler is out of operation and any grease trap waste is currently going (by flex hose) directly to the 10,000 storage tank located inside the building – bypassing the screening box & outside tanks. No other significant changes in the facility or process were noted. Noted old grease debris in the screening box which needs to be disposed of properly (the onsite dumpster is overflowing with various trash). The 10,000 gallon storage tank located inside the building has overflowed at some point (significant stain down the sides) and should be cleaned of all septage residuals. Discharge events at this facility should be monitored by 301 personnel to ensure waste is handled appropriately. 2. The tanks appear structurally sound. The approved setbacks are being met. The required “No Trespassing” sign is posted. The required 5 foot cleared radius (free of excess vegetation or debris) is present around the tanks. 3. Enclosed are copies of various items that are needed for the permit renewal for this dewatering facility. Please submit the needed items so that I may proceed with the permit renewal.
