Cause/Observation :
Development activity over coal ash fill site had exposed ash prior to
Florence and repair was attempted prior to storm. Heavy rain again
exposed ash and transported it to ESC basin with potential minor
amounts to a downstream pond
Action Taken :
Directed Gary McPeters, construction superintendent, cell:
704-460-5479, to stabilize area to prevent additional erosion. ESC
basin will need coordination among agencies.
