Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The inspection was conducted at the Asheville Regional Office-DEQ. 2. The following firm truck was inspected: Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) VA Tag Number Capacity (gallons) VG6M114B3FB081259 VN-7114 2000 Photo taken by Troy Harrison on 7/8/2019 3. The tank appeared to be structurally sound and bolted to the frame. 4. Valves and access ports appeared to be secure. Caps were present on the access ports. 5. The truck was properly marked in accordance with the lettering requirements. 6. No leaks were observed. 7. The permit application was submitted as “Mountain Well & Septic” whereas “MOUNTAIN WELL AND SEPTIC” was on the vehicle. 8. A reminder, as a new septage management firm in North Carolina, this vehicle cannot be used until a permit is issued by the Solid Waste Section. This letter is not a permit.
