Feedstocks
1. Pre and Post consumer food waste
Restaurant grease and domestic septage from de -watering box.
Agricultural waste
Bakery waste
Only domestic package plant waste from de -watering box.
Animal manure
Poultry waste
Fish waste
Garden waste
Produce waste
Wood chips and land cleaning debris
No waste or feedstocks will be accepted from the general public.
The package plants we compost are domestic waste only, they are no different
than septic tanks except package plant waste is treated waste sludge that means
it is cleaner and better.
Package plants fall under Water Quality Section, the waste is domestic waste only
and should fall under Solid Waste Section in septic tank division.
I discussed this with Tony Gallagher and also with Mike Scott when he laid out my
compost site they both agreed with me and did not require and analytical date on
my package plants.

4. 3 buckets on backhoe of carbon, wood chips
1 bucket on backhoe of nitrogen, grease sludge
S. If temperture is not up as high as what it should be we add more wood chips.
7. Dikes and trenches shown on engineering drawing on file in Raleigh office
show a natural contour slop to grassey filter.
8. Feedstock arrives in 20 yard de -watering box then emptied on a 24 inch layer
of wood chips, then more chips are added and mixed until desired consistency
is aquired. Same process maybe used in concrete pit shown on drawing. The
compost is then placed in windrows, we do not sell compst at this time we
plan on selling at a latter date.
9. Windrows
We turn every two days.
Temperatures are taken everyday with a tempature probe, except weekends
and holidays.
10. Surface waters are controled by ditches and burms and iverted from
Operation of the compost into grassey filter area.
11. When Mr. Tony Gallagher inspected my compost site to issue a compost
site permit a stormwater inspector also visited my property, no problem
was found. All surface water discharged into a grassey filtered area.

12. No amendements is added to finished compost.
13. Location of Site
Odor will not be a problem if it occures will cover with finished compost
and if dust is a problem water will be added.
With the location of site there has not been aproblem in the past 5 years.

of said property in the event that the operator defaults as well as to liability under the federal
Comprehensive Environmental Responsibility, Compensation and Liability Act ("CERCLA"). Without

facility is located may subject me to claims from persons who may be harmed in their persons or
property caused by the solid waste management facility.
