We sent notices to the contiguous property owners to the east and south where the contamination is expected to migrate and the north and west which are Main Street and Franklin Street owned by the NCDOT and/or the Town and/or County. I did not see any notices to "all property owners and occupants within or contiguous to the area containing contamination nor all property owners and occupants within or contiguous to the area where the contamination is expected to migrate" as required in the Conditional No Further Action letter. I'm not sure if they were not notified or if the documentation was not included with the Proof of Filed Notice of Residual Petroleum and Public Notices that were submitted to our office.
