PARTICIPANTS: Chester Cobb (DWM), Brett Martin (WCDES), and Ron (Camping World) STATUS OF PERMIT: Active EXPIRES: 07/30/2020
PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Routine STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
It has been noted on previous inspections that a “No Trespassing” sign is needed at the front side of the site.
No sign observed.
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
1) Did not observe a “No Trespassing” sign along the front access to the site. Rule .0838(k) states
“Access roads or paths crossing or leading to the facility shall be posted with “No Trespassing” signs”.
Not having a “No Trespassing” sign at the front access to the site is a violation of Rule .0838(k). Talked
to Ron as to a location to place the sign.
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1) Did not observed a “No Trespassing” sign at the front access to the site. As noted above, Rule .0838(k)
requires a “No Trespassing” sign at the access roads or paths leading to the facility. Recommended to
Ron to place the sign on the front gate.
2) Both tanks are below grade with access ports within the asphalt paving. Tank areas were accessible for
inspection.
3) No septage spills noticed at the two tanks. Tanks do not appear to be in use. Ron said that he had not
seen anyone use the tanks.
4) No vector or odor issues noticed.
5) No change noticed that would affect setback distances.
6) Access roads paved in asphalt. No issues with the access roads.
