RE: METHANE MONITORING RESULTS — SECOND QUARTERLY EVENT — MAY 2019
ROWAN COUNTY LANDFILL, PERMIT NO. 80-03
ROWAN COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA
Dear Jackie,
Attached are the results from the May 1, 2019, quarterly methane monitoring event conducted at the above -
referenced facility. No methane gas was detected in the facility structures during this monitoring event.
Permanent explosive gas monitoring devices are located in the scale -house and maintenance building. Methane
gas was not detected in compliance or assessment monitoring points at concentrations above the lower explosive
limit (LEL, i.e., 5% methane by volume) during the second quarterly methane monitoring event.
The next monitoring event is tentatively scheduled for July 2019. If you have any questions or concerns, please
contact us at 336 852-4903.
