FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The rye crop needs to be harvested and the field rotation implemented as per the approved nutrient management plan (should have begun approx. a month ago). Ms. Locklear indicated that there had been scheduling issues. Noted scattered dead patches (possibly old grease burns) which may need reseeding. Weed control is also needed as vegetation other than Bermuda/rye was noted on the fields. Follow the advice of Georgia Love, regional agronomist, in regards to weed control & maintaining the Bermuda cropstand. 2. Old hay bales are sitting at the back perimeter of Field B and need to be removed asap. 3. Land application occurred on Field B during this visit. Ph was checked and it was a 12. 4. No signs of land application outside the permitted boundaries. It appears that the approved setbacks are being maintained but were not measured at this time. No sign of heavy application. No odors noted. 5. Field markers appear accurate. Markers that were leaning or fallen during the last visit have been reposted. 6. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate.
