The report recommending continued semi-annual monitoring was reviewed and approved on April 26, 2019. The paper report copy will be maintained in the MRO. The electronic copy has been loaded to the electronic document storage system (Laserfiche). The report indicates: • Dissolved phase constituents of concern were detected in concentrations exceeding the NCDEQ NCAC 15A 2L.0202 standards (2L Standards) in monitoring wells MW-4A, MW-5, MW-15A, DW- I and water supply well WSW -Ring Power Crane during the February 2019 sampling event. • 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) was detected over the NCDEQ gross contaminant level (GCL) in monitoring well MW-5 during the February 2019 sampling event. • Free product was not detected during this monitoring period. • When compared to the August 2018 sampling event, the overall concentration of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) has generally decreased in monitoring wells MW-4A, MW-15A, and WSW -Ring Power Crane. • When compared to the August 2018 sampling event, the overall concentration of VOCs has remained relatively the same in monitoring well DW-1. Dissolved phase constituents of concern remained below laboratory analytical detection limits (Non -Detect [ND]) for the sample collected from monitoring well MW-8AR during the February 2019 sampling event. The next monitoring report is due by September 30, 2019. Please note that sampling and correction action must be conducted in accordance with the Guidelines for Assessment and Corrective Action for UST Releases. Failure to comply in the manner and time specified may result in the assessment of civil penalties and/or the use of the other enforcement mechanisms.
