Dear Mr. Chapman:
On October 30, 2018, the Mooresville Regional Office (MRO) of the Underground Storage Tank
(UST) Section of the Division of Waste Management received a request to extend the submittal deadline for
the Initial Abatement Action (IAA) Report for this site from your consultant NOVA. Specifically, NOVA
requested that the submittal deadline be extended until December 3, 2018. This request is considered
reasonable and is hereby granted.
Documents should be submitted in accordance with the February 13, 2018 Electronic Document
Submittal policy for the UST Section Corrective Action Branch.

As discussed earlier, NOVA is presently working to complete the Initial Abatement Action (IAA) Report for the PreGel
America site. We initially received a Notice of Regulatory Requirements (NORR) dated June 26, 2018, that requested
completion of this report within 90 days of the discovery of the release. I have attached a copy of the NORR for your
reference. At this time, NOVA respectfully requests a thirty (30) day extension as of today's date to complete the IAA
Report.
