Did not drive over the entire site due to very wet conditions. It appears that there are signs of heavy application & tire damage -particularly on the upper side of the site. Repair any areas as needed & ensure adequate truck speed, pressure & spreader plate are being used to prevent heavy application. As noted on the last audit, the entire site must be utilized for septage applications, not just the upper side. This site shall be managed as one field. If the site is too wet then another approved disposal location must be utilized. 2. The fescue is getting tall. Harvest the field as per the approved nutrient management plan. Ensure the 30 day waiting period is followed between the last septage application and harvest. Weed control is needed this spring, contact your local extension agent or regional agronomist for advice. 3. Submit a copy of the land application site logs for review. 4. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met but were not measured at this time. No sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. 5. The required signs are posted (one is slightly damaged) and the access road is adequate. No odors noted. 6. A 2019 class schedule is enclosed for your use.
