FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The tank appears to be structurally sound. 2. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No spills or leaks were noted. No apparent vectors or odors noted. Drip buckets are positioned at the tank outlets – a substantial amount of rainwater was noted in the containers. Instructed Mrs. Dickerson to routinely clean out the buckets. 3. Maintain the required 5 foot cleared radius (free of excess vegetation or debris) around the tank. The vegetation will need cut in the near future. 4. The required sign is posted (on a tree) and the access road is adequate. 5. The approved setbacks are being met. 6. Mrs. Dickerson stated that the Health Department had recently investigated a complaint regarding illegal dumping in a creek at this location – no violation was found.
