One located at the property entrance and another at the Facility entrance and has controlled access for safety. The property access gate was unlocked and open upon my arrival and an attendant was on-site during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 6) The access road to the Facility is of all-weather construction and is being managed properly at this time. 7) This Facility has permanent, highly visible, edge-of-waste markers in place delineating the landfill waste disposal footprint. 8) The soil sedimentation and erosion control measures were reviewed and no off-site erosion was noted during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 9) Soil is stockpiled adjacent to the landfill and on the top lift in an area adjacent to the active working face for use as cover. 10) Overall, the Facility sideslopes have a well-established cover crop of native warm season grasses and are being maintained at a slope not greater than 3:1. However, areas of erosion were observed on the eastern sideslope. *Please repair these areas by filling and grading and then seeding and mulching to establish a groundcover suitable to prevent erosion of your landfill cap system. 11) The waste type being disposed is landclearing and inert debris and there were no unacceptable waste streams noted during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 12) The active working area is being compacted and covered as required. *Please continue to ensure that the active working area is being covered monthly or when it reaches one acre in size, whichever occurs first. 13) Portions of the western outside slopes of the landfill have recently been covered and graded. *Please continue to ensure that all Facility sideslopes are compacted, covered, and graded at a slope not greater than 3:1. 14) Inert debris consisting of asphalt, scrap concrete, and concrete block is being stockpiled for reuse in an area adjacent to the landfill. Crushing/recycling activities were underway during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 15) The surface water ditches were clear of sedimentation and excess vegetative growth. 16) The on-site stormwater basins were reviewed. The basins were free of excess brush, had stable sideslopes, and no visible signs of erosion. 17) No violations were observed during this Facility Compliance Inspection. 18) *Corrective measures are required as a result of this Facility Compliance Inspection.
