A small section of smoldering material was isolated, suppressed with water and covered by soil to smother it.
Some yard waste being comingled with storm debris during collection. Pulling apart the compacted material on a day with high winds.

The total storm debris included 45,652 cubic yards of material. 4,000 cubic yards was smoldering and was isolated from the total pile.
Better segregation of the yard waste and storm debris. Avoid pulling a compacted pile apart during high wiinds.
