ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The Septage Land Application Site consists of Field 1 (13.8 acres), Field 2 (18.6 acres) and Field 3 (12.6 acres).
Field 1 2. The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage and grease trap pumpings.
3. The site had accessible all-weather roads to the septage land application field covered under the permit.
4. Appropriate signage was displayed at the entrance to the fields. The fields are also protected by a metal gate.
5. All fields had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers which corresponded to the site map. Current Set-back/buffer requirements appear to have been met.
6. All septage discharges appear to have been made within the disposal area boundary.
7. Weed control is in progress and ongoing. The fields have recently been re-seeded with fescue. The
current nutrient management plan requires areas that develop with less than 80% ground cover by fescue to be re-seeded with fescue.
8. No evidence of standing liquid or pooled waste was observed. 9. No objectionable odors were observed.
