Historically I have only notified contiguous properties that are downgradient of the plume. I haven't had anyone at the state say that upgradient properties also needed notification, so I focused on downgradient properties at this site. With that said, I'll send out notices to the additional contiguous properties around the site. Thank you, Michael Pressley, P.G. We can move forward with closure but we'd need a Notice a Residual of Petroleum. Whenever, you can get this in to me I can review/approve it and turn around a Conditional NFA. Once proof of filing the NORP is submitted and public notice requirements have been met, then I can issue a final NFA. Let me know if you have any questions... The risks are summarized in the word file "19040 Atando Ave DM 20170215" on page 4, "Notes from Sandra Mort". I concur with Sandy's findings that the cumulative risks are less than the DWM criteria. According —to the attached information, the risks posed by petroleum vapors in the indoor air are within acceptable limits for a commercial situation. Will you take a look to see if petroleum compounds found in air samples present a problem. Most of this looks to be draft version but there doesn't appear to be any indoor air concerns if I'm reading this correctly. I'm guessing Sandy Mort has reviewed this... I also attached the report of the last round of samples. Thank you for your help with this. UST doesn't have any official vapor intrusion guidelines so these risk calculations are above my head.
