NORTH CAROLINA SEPTAGE MANAGEMENT FIRM
2024 NEW OPERATOR TRAINING Purpose:
• This training is for anyone new to the septage business and those who want to obtain a Septage
Management Firm Permit in North Carolina. • This training is also for operators who have been out of business for more than 12-months and would like to renew their permit.
• Completion of this class meets the septage management firm operator training requirements of 15A NCAC 13B .0834 and GS §130A-291.3 Class Dates:
• Thursday, January 4th --- Enrollment period ends Thursday December 28th • Thursday, March 14th --- Enrollment period ends Thursday March 7th • Thursday, May 9th --- Enrollment period ends Thursday May 2nd
• Thursday, July 11th --- Enrollment period ends Thursday July 8th • Thursday, September 12th --- Enrollment period ends Thursday September 5th • Thursday, November 14th --- Enrollment period ends Thursday November 7th Note: The enrollment period for each class ends one week before the class date Time:
The class will take approximately 6 hours to complete. We will begin at 9:30 am stopping for an hour for lunch and are usually finished around 3:30 pm. In addition to attendance of the class, a short test must be completed at the end of the presentations to receive credit for the class. Location:
The Class will be held virtually using Cisco Webex. Attendees must have access to the internet. Cost: This class is provided free of charge. Registration:
