FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. The Septage Land Application Site consists of one 10.5-acre field. Land Application Field in Background 2. The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage and grease septage. 3. The site is located on Mizpah Church Road directly across from Penn Road and had an accessible all-weather road to the field. 4. Appropriate signage was displayed at the entrance to the field. 5. Disposal area boundaries delineated with permanent markers. There appeared to be an extra post near the southwestern boundary; however, it still appeared to be in compliance within the buffer requirements to a neighboring church. 6. All septage discharges appear to have been made within the disposal area boundary. 7. There is no evidence of standing liquid or pooled waste. The waste appeared to be evenly distributed throughout the field. The field appeared to have a good stand of fescue. 8. No objectionable odors were observed. 9. Land application logs were submitted with the permit renewal and are under review.
