ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. All photographs were taken by Troy Harrison on March 22, 2018.
2. The tank was of steel construction and the permit application indicates a storage capacity of 14,000 gallons.
3. Distance measurements were taken using a laser rangefinder unless otherwise noted. The distance to the nearest
property line was 75’. The distance to the nearest water supply well was 168’. The distance to a pond was
405’. The distance to the nearest house was 173’; using the Lincoln Co GIS measuring tool. The site appears to be in compliance with setback requirements.
4. There appeared to be no septage in the tank; however, water was in the tank for leak testing purposes according to the company.
5. No vegetation was around the tank allowing for easy access and inspection.
6. State regulations require a “No Trespassing” sign to be placed at the entrance to the facility. This can be located at the entrance to the property or near (or on) the tank itself. The sign will need to be in place before use.
7. A permit issued by the Solid Waste must be issued before use of the tank for storage of septage
