ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The facility, as currently permitted, consists of one above ground 14,000-gallon steel tank for the storage of domestic septage only.
2. A permit renewal to include the addition of a tank and storage of septage grease has been received. A 4,000-gallon tank to be added to the permit was observed in place.
3. Setback requirements have been met.
4. There appeared to be no septage in the new tank. No leaks or spills were observed from the existing permitted
tank.
5. No vegetation was observed around the tanks allowing for easy access and inspection.
6. State regulations require a “No Trespassing” sign to be placed at the entrance to the facility. This can be
located at the entrance to the property or near (or on) the tank itself. The sign will need to be in place before use.
7. The new tank cannot be used until a permit modification is issued by the Solid Waste Section. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding this inspection report.
