NAGEMERT MOORESVILLE REGIONAL OFFICE As authorized by your acceptance of our Work Authorization Sheet dated February 1, 1993, Law Environmental has completed ground -water sampling and analysis of four monitoring wells at the project site. This phase of sampling and analysis was performed at the request of the North Carolina Division of Environmental Management (DEM) prior to abandoning the onsite wells. Four wells were installed in 1992 to determine the vertical and horizontal extent of ground -water contamination from a leaking residential underground heating oil tank. Previous analytical results (EPA Method 610) indicated a limited extent of petroleum contaminants in the vicinity of the former tank pit. This phase of sampling and analysis indicated that no petroleum constituents (EPA Method 610) were detected above the practical quantitation limit. The current laboratory results are attached.
