PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT:
Partial Facility Compliance Inspection
STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS:
None
OBSERVED VIOLATIONS:
None
The item(s) listed above were observed by Section staff and require action on behalf of the facility in order to come into or maintain compliance with the Statutes, Rules, and/or other regulatory requirements applicable to this facility. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
01 – New locking gates have been installed on entrance #2 on Link Road. 02 – New signage is in the process of being built for these gates.
03 – Wind-blown trash issue is getting better. Continue efforts to keep wind-blown trash picked up daily. 04 – Inert debris area is almost cleaned up from old materials.
05 – Groundwater wells are locked and tagged.
06 – Groundwater wells were being sampled during his inspection. 07 – The working face is being kept small for easier and faster cover. 08 – Cover material is being kept on the working face cell for quick cover in the event of high winds and/or heavy
rainfall events. 09 – Facility has a large amount of cover material stockpiled on-site close to the working cell also.
10 – Facility has adequate signage at entrance #1 on Cub Road.
11 – Locking gates and fencing is also present for security. 12 – All records are now being kept in the scale house on Cub Road.
13 – Interior roads are made of all-weather materials and maintained well.
14 – Overall facility is being managed well. 15 – Digital pictures taken during this inspection.
