FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Soil samples were required to be taken by the permit holder by December 31, 2018. At this time it does not appear that this office has received a copy of the soil report yet. 2. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 3. During this visit noted that a recent discharge event had occurred on Field 1B – checked the ph and it was a pH 5 (not the required pH 12), however unsure exactly when the discharge event occurred or if recent rains affected the reading. Ensure that all waste is at a pH 12 at the time of discharge. 4. Field markers appear accurate on both fields. It appears that the approved setbacks are being met but were not measured at this time. No sign of land application outside the permitted boundaries. No sign of heavy application. 5. The permit submittal is currently under review.
