Expires August 09, 2021. Pursuant to 15A NCAC 13B .0201(g), no later than April 27, 2021, the owner or operator must submit a request to the Section for permit review and must submit updated facility plans meeting the requirements of Rule 0.565 and .0566. PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: Follow-up Facility Compliance Inspection. STATUS OF PAST NOTED VIOLATIONS: None OBSERVED VIOLATIONS: None FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 3 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 01 – The reason for this follow-up inspection was to look at Boundary (Edge of Waste) Markers. 02 – This follow-up inspection was scheduled during the last inspection dated December 04, 2018. 03 – Barnhill staff has worked hard and has ALL on the Markers installed. 04 – Walked the total Landfill Footprint with the original map to check marker locations. 05 – It appears that ALL Markers are in the correct areas. 06 – There is some LCID waste that will have to be moved back inside of the Landfill Footprint. 07 – The LCID material can be used to address side slopes (3:1 needed) in areas that are close to the material outside of the footprint. 08 – Another follow-up will occur to ensure ALL LCID is back inside. 09 – This follow-up will take place in January 2019 to schedule a timeframe for work to be done. 10 – Brent Caudle to call John College to discuss timeframes. Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
