Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune is not liable for the solid waste disposal tax. The landfill is owned and operated by the federal
government. The 23,307.92 tons of material landfilled at this facility during the July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 time period is exempt
from the tax.
