ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No spills or leaks
noted in the tank or pit area. Continue efforts to prevent any septage (liquid or solid) from getting on the
ground surface (in the tank or pit area) and if it does occur, regardless of the amount, immediately clean up all
waste & contaminated soil.
2. The above ground tanks appear structurally sound. The pit area was partially filled with a mostly solid mixture
(no significant liquid in the pit).
3. The approved setbacks are being met.
4. The required 5’ cleared radius (free of excess vegetation or debris) is present around the tanks & concrete pit.
5. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate.
6. Discussed the odor complaints that have been received by our office. No significant odors or vectors noted
during this visit.
7. Thank you for your time.
