Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. A small spill of septage was noted on the ground at the front end of the tanks where a dirty grate was sitting. The grate should be removed and the area cleaned up. No spills noted at the unloading area up top. 2. The three tanks appear structurally sound. No apparent change in the facility – tanks & retaining wall are still tilted. 3. The approved setbacks are being met. 4. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No vectors or odors noted. 5. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate. 6. Maintain the required 5’ cleared radius around the tanks (free of excess vegetation or debris).
