STATUS OF PERMIT:
The Permit to Operate Iredell County MSWLF Phase 1-5 and Permit for Closure of the C&D Landfill was issued on
November 18, 2014. The closure certification was completed on November 30, 2011 (DIN 8243; 2’ of soil, DIN 15968;
vegetation).

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. Reviewed semi-annual groundwater (July 2016, August 2017 & February 2018).
2. Edge of waste markers were in place and visible along the perimeter of the landfill.
3. The landfill is scheduled to be mowed within the next month. An inspection of the landfill for any erosion issues,
depressions and leachate seeps was not performed due to the tall established vegetative cover. Upon completion, an
additional inspection will be performed of the landfill.
4. An inspection of all monitoring wells was performed to verify proper tags and locks.

such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
