administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The permitted facility consists of four 18,000-gallon and one 36,000-gallon in ground concrete tanks with a total capacity of 108,000 gallons for the storage of untreated and treated septage. Also observed was a
dewatering box. 2. The facility is permitted for the storage and treatment of grease trap pumpings.

3. Appropriate signage was present.
4. No objectionable odors were observed outside of the facility.

5. The permitted tanks appeared to be structurally sound and no leaks were observed.
6. The box clean-out area consisting of a concrete pad draining to a buried septage detention tank observed in
previous inspections has been taken out of service and not used. A new metal screen was also observed.
