administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The access road is adequate and signs are posted. However, a new access path has been cleared across the
timbered area to the tank area – new signs need to be posted on this path. This was requested on the last
audit of 12/12/2017 but did not see a sign on this path entrance.
2. The three tanks appear structurally sound. A smaller tank has been installed on the top of one of the tanks
with a supporting platform. Please submit in writing how this smaller tank will be used in the storage
process.
3. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No spills or leaks
noted. Hose ends are hung upright on poles. No apparent vectors or odors.
4. The approved setbacks are being met.
5. Maintain the required 5’ cleared radius (free of excess vegetation & debris) in the coming months.
