This email serves as a brief update on the investigation associated with the leachate force main at the Mayo Steam 
Electric Plant Monofill (PN 7305‐INDUS). 

Provisions were made on the Monofill force main line to video the condition.  Near Station 32+45 (~55’ upstream of 
cleanout 3 located at Station 33+00 – see figure below), separation of a weld on the inner 6” HDPE pipe was 
discovered.  Attached you can see an image from the camera inspection where the dual containment spacer is 
visible.  At this time there is no apparent integrity issue with the outer 10” HDPE pipe.  The area will be excavated in 
order to visually inspect the outer pipe and ultimately repair the primary pipe.   Hydro excavation of the area will begin 
as soon as weather permits.
