Dear Registered Agent:

On April 23, 2018, John Patrone of this office conducted an update inspection of the Republic
Services of North Carolina LLC – Bishop Road Transfer Station to observe the transfer station
tipping floor repair. The tipping floor repair appeared adequate.

On May 18, 2018, the SWS received the “Summary of Corrective Actions” submitted by Republic
Services of North Carolina, LLC in response to the NOV. The corrective actions report has been
accepted by the SWS.

This letter serves to confirm that the requirements of the Notice of Violation have been met.
