Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. FACILITY COMPLIANCE INSPECTION REPORT Division of Waste Management Solid Waste Section Page 2 of 2 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1. Received permit renewal & waste analysis from Eric Locklear. Treatment logs are to be emailed. Mr. Locklear stated that revisions were made to the treatment logs to include the “solids info” requested on the last audit of 12/14/2017. 2. Have not received a key for the gate entrance as discussed on 12/14/2017. Mr. Locklear stated that he would send one to me. 3. The office has been moved from the Rennert Road location here to the entrance of the site on Saddletree Road. 4. Mr. Locklear explained the waste process & treatment facility to Amanda Freeman (Field Operations Branch). 5. The above grounds tanks appear structurally sound. The approved setbacks are being met. No apparent physical change in facility. It appears that septage is being transferred to/from the facility in a safe and sanitary manner. No spills or leaks noted. No vectors or odors noted. The required 5’ cleared radius (free of excess vegetation & debris) is present around the tanks. The required signs are posted and the access road is adequate.
