ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The Septage Land Application Site consists of Field 1 (10.0 acres), Field 2 (3.8 acres) and Field 3 (5.1 acres) for a total of 18.9 usable acres for the land application of domestic septage (including portable toilet waste) and grease
septage. 2. The site had accessible all-weather roads to the septage land application field covered under the permit.
3. Appropriate signage was displayed.
4. All fields had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers which corresponded with the aerial photograph submitted with the permit application.
5. All septage discharges appear to have been made within the disposal area boundary.
6. No evidence of standing liquid or pooled waste was observed.
7. Field 1 had a crop of fescue; however, the weeds are continuing to take over. Areas that develop with less
than 80% ground cover must be reseeded according to the Nutrient Management Plan (NMP). Several heavy applications were also observed.
