ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. Inspected vehicle tag#HJ4574. The tank appears structurally sound & securely attached. The outlet covers were
on and no drips/leaks were noted. The lettering is correct on both sides of the vehicle, however it is significantly
pitted and will need repaired/replaced in the near future.
2. Please submit a copy of the truck pumping logs for 2018 for review.
3. During discussion with Ms. Dickerson regarding the other permitted vehicle (tag#EP4305) which was not
inspected at this time, it was noted that the full firm name “J & B Septic Service Portable Toilets” may
not be all three inch letters or greater on both sides of the vehicle. A vehicle shall be in compliance with
all Septage Management Rules for it to be used for septage pump jobs. If this vehicle is not in compliance
with the lettering requirements correct the lettering as needed on both sides of the vehicle within 30 days
and submit a photo by email to me.
4. During this visit another vehicle was on site but did not have tags, is not in use. For this vehicle to be used for
septage pump jobs the correct lettering would need to be displayed on both sides of the vehicle and an
inspection would be required. No additional fee would be required as $800 was already submitted for the 2018
frim permit. The tank on this vehicle shall not be used for the temporary storage of septage as it is not a
currently permitted septage detention facility.
