Be advised that pursuant to N.C.G.S. 130A-22, an administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit, or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules. The approved setbacks are being met. No apparent physical changes to the facility. 3. The required 5’ cleared radius was present at this time. 4. No septage spills on the ground surface were noted. No vectors noted. No odors noted past the property boundaries. The area within the concrete containment wall was significantly drier – little standing water, pressure washing was occurring during visit. Continue efforts to improve cleanup practices outside & inside the building, particularly the grease unloading area. 5. The required sign is posted and the access road is adequate. 6. Treatment logs were not reviewed at this time. A copy will be submitted with the permit renewal later this year.
