ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
1. The Septage Land Application Site consists of Field 1 (2.0 acres) and Field 2 (4.4 acres) for a total of 6.4 usable
acres.
2. The site is permitted for land application of domestic septage.
3. The site had accessible all-weather roads to the septage land application field covered under the permit.
4. Signage that states “No Trespassing” and “Septage Land Application Site” was missing. This will need to
be replaced.
5. Both fields had disposal area boundaries that were delineated with permanent markers except for the
boundary between Fields 1 and 2 (see photo below). These markers will need to be replaced.
6. All septage discharges appear to have been made within the disposal area boundary.
7. No evidence of standing liquid or pooled waste was observed. The waste appeared to be evenly distributed
throughout the field.
8. No objectionable odors were observed.
9. The nutrient management plan has fescue and Bermuda grass as the established crop. Areas that develop less
than 80% groundcover by fescue must be reseeded with tall fescue.
