ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
1. AAA Hauling is a construction and demolition transfer station.
2. The purpose of this inspection was to introduce new solid waste staff to facility staff and to discuss alterations
to AAA’s operations.
3. AAA would like to contract with Northeastern Alternative Fuels, LLC to recycle wood waste. The final
product of the recycling process would be absorbent wood products and boiler fuel.
4. Records were reviewed during this inspection. Records included tonnage reports, load inspections and training
records. All records were readily accessible and complete.
5. Certified transfer station operations specialists; John Killian, exp. 11/9/2020 and David F. Williams, exp.
11/9/2020
6. Ensure any unprocessed waste stored in containers overnight are covered. Waste containers and cover shall be
leak resistant.

administrative penalty of up to $15,000 per day may be assessed for each violation of the Solid Waste Laws, Regulations, Conditions of a Permit,
or Order under Article 9 of Chapter 130A of the N.C. General Statutes. Further, the facility and/or all responsible parties may also be subject to
enforcement actions including penalties, injunction from operation of a solid waste management facility or a solid waste collection service and any
such further relief as may be necessary to achieve compliance with the North Carolina Solid Waste Management Act and Rules.
