Inspection Summary:
Facility operates a biological treatment lagoon with no domestic wastes.
O&M and Spill plan present, permit on site.
Permit expires Sept 30, 2019, renewal was submitted to DWR on Aug 28, 2019.
Onsite operations include: 2 million gallon aeration basin with DO analyzers (1 aerator out of service during inspection, under
repairs), 1 million gallon aeration basin, clarifier, and digester.
Evidence of recent overflow from the 1 mg basin, no evidence that the overflow made it to storm drain or surface water.
Pictures taken. Recommended to clean up sludge that was still on ground surface prior to any rainfall. Overflow reportedly
occured over previous holiday weekend where some facility operation reamined turned on over weekend. Onsite staff
immediatly ceased the operation and assessed the overflow.
Lisa Haynes provided followup via email of cleanup with pictures verifying the sludge removal and placement of booms
downslope near storm drain.
