Inspection Summary:
Brian Lambe met with Wayne Randolph of UST section in response to a complaint of a diesel feul spill from the permitted
location. The gas station has a deisel bay that has wastewater collection inlets, leading to a oil water separator. Mr.
Randolph said that the oil water separator has not been maintained. The separator leads to a underground tank adjacenct to
the permitted stormwater infiltration pond (SW8041105). The overflow from the storage tank flows into the infiltration pond.
The secondary containment from the UST fill port area has a drain, presumably leading to the storage tank or the infiltration
pond.
The state stormwater permit does not allow for the infiltration pond to be used to for treatment of petroleum products.
Cleanup of the spill must be coordinated with John Hooks and Wayne Randolph of UST per Notice of Violation dated
October 19, 2018. Schedule a compliance meeting with Brian Lambe to review SPPP and sampling results post 2015.
