approval is only for eirosion control and does not conStitUte approval of site improvements as defined in the Town
of FUqUay Varina I and Development Ordinance. An approved eirosion and sedimentation control Iplan is valid for
one (1) calendar year from the date of approvall. if a Wid diStUrbance Ipermit has not been obtained within the one
(1) year Ipeuiod, the eirosion control and sedimentation Iplan approval becomes null and void.

The owner/develloper or their representative MUSt meet the following obligations as part of this approvall:
A Ipre conStRiction meeting is reqUired Iprior to commencement of any conStRiction. Approval of site
improvements is reqUired Iprior to schedUlling a Ipre conStRiction meeting. A fee sheet for reqUired Ipermit
fees will be provided with site improvement approvall.
Grading, otheir than for installation of soil eirosion and sedimentation control meaSUres, is prohibited prior
to completion of an approved compliance inspection.
EC Irrlan approval shall be prominently displayed Until all conStRiction is complete, all Irrermarlent
sedimentation and eirosion control meaSUres are installed, and the site has been stabilized. A copy of the
approved plan shall be Ikelpt on fille at the Uob site.
Agents, officials, or other qUallified persons aUthorized by the Town, have the aright to periodically inspect
hand diStUrbing activities to enSUre compliance and to determine whether the meaSUres reqUired in the
plan are effective in controlling eirosion and sedimentation reSUIting from hand diStUrbing activity.
As of April 1, 2019, all new conStRiction activities are reqUired to complete and Submit an electronic
Notice of Ilntent (I II) form reqUesting a Certificate of Coverage (COC) Under the NC G010000

Construction Stormwateir General Permit. This form MUST be submitted Iprioir to the commencement of
any land diStUirbing activity on the above named Ipirouect. The NOl form may be accessed at
deq.nc.qov/NCG01. Please direct questions about'the NOl form to Annette I LICaS at
Annette. lucas(cDncdenr.gov 0IFPaUl Clark atPaul.clark(d-)ncdenr.qov. After you submit complete and
correct NOl Form, a COC will be emailled'to YOU within three bUsiness days. Ilnitially, DENAI R will not
charge a fee for coverage Under the NCGOI Ipermit. However, on or after May 1, 2019, a $100 fee will be
charged annually. This fee is to be sent to the IDMII....R Stormwateir Central Office staff in Raleigh. See
attached NCGOQ Final Fact Sheet.
Title 15A NCAC 4B .01 18(a) and the NCGOI Ipermit require that the following documentation be Ikelpt on
File at the uob site:
1. The approved E&SC Iplan as well as any approved deviation.
2. The NCGOI Ipeirmit and the COC, once it is ireceived.
3. Records of inspections made clUiring the Iprevuous 30 days.
The Town of FUqUay Vagina is not responsible For SUbuect approvals of other I ocall, State or Federal Agencies. The
SUbuect approvals acre (lout not limited to) Federal Emergency Management Airea Flood u'egLilatic)ris/u'eqLliu'emerits,
Division of Water Quality Under stormwateir or other water quality u'egLilatic)ris/u'eqLliu'emerits, U.S. Army Corps of
EngineeIFS Under Article 404/401 (Wetiands/Streams) uLlirisdictic)ri/u'eqLliu'emerits, any provisions of the North Carolina
State IBUilding Code or any structural design plans as conducted by the FUqUay Vagina Ilrislpections Department ,
and/or any Fecleirall, State, County and I 0Cal municipal irecgulations or Ipeirmit iregUirements. These Ipeirmits and
approvals are separate'From this appirovall and the owineir, owineir's agents, Iheiirs, successoirs and assigins aire,
responsible for investigating the need, and obtaining these otheir Ipeirmits if iregUired.
Approval of these plans does not Supersede, in any manner, the Town of FUqUay Vairina's Code of Ordinances oir
the rown,s Standard Specifications and Construction li )eAails. All construction Tall The iimpleimented in accordance
with the Code of Ordinances and the Standard Specifications and Construction Details as now(promulgated and as
hereafter amended by the Town of FUqUay Vairina. Any devlafioins firoim the rown,s Code of Oirdiinaince�s and
Standard Specifications and Construction Details shall be called to the attention of the Town before such deviations
are implemented.
To the extent these approved plans vary or conflict with the Town of FUqUay Vairina's Code of Ordinances and/oir
the rown,s Standard Specifications and Construction li )eAails, said Code and Standard Specifications and
Construction Details shall control irrespective of approval Of SUb�ect plans. The owneir, owneir agents, heirs,
successors and assigns, agree the Town shall not be responsible for any claims, damages, losses, costs,
eingineeiring fees, attorney's fees oir otheir 1pirofessioinall fees WhatsoeveK, iincuirire�d lby the owineir or the owner's agents
occasioned by relying Upon the sUbect plans approved by the Town in the event that the SUbect plans acre
