Thank you for submitting this Change of Ownership change for NCG180039. No legal documentation of the transfer of
ownership was provided, and normally we would have to return this form to you unprocessed. However, you also noted
that the facility no longer manufactures furniture and instead operates boilers, dry kilns, and lumber storage.
It sounds like NCG180000 may no longer be the appropriate permit. Instead of a name -ownership change, you probably
need to:
#1 apply for a coverage under a different stormwater permit for the industrial activity now taking place at your facility,
and
#2 request rescission of the NCG180039 permit. A rescission form is attached.
I'm not sure what permit would apply here based on the limited description. It could be Timber Products, NCG210000
(Lumber and Wood Products, SIC beginning with 24--), or maybe a different one. We'll be happy to help you figure out
the best permit to apply for. Could you provide the SIC of the industrial activity happening here, or a more detailed
description of current operations? It might be helpful to look over the General Permits on our website here:

To apply for another permit, you'll need to fill out a Notice of Intent (NOI) for a more appropriate general
permit. Those are also on our website. Or, if a general permit does not fit the activity, the process will Involve applying
for an individual permit (a little different). Most likely a general permit will apply. When you apply for a new Certificate
of Coverage, please let us know that this permit (NCG180039) should be rescinded upon issuance of that new permit
(note it in the application). You can send In the rescission request form at the same time.
It would be helpful to have assistance from the Winston-Salem Regional Office in this matter. I've copied Aana Taylor -
Smith who is familiar with the stormwater Permitting Program and can help. The telephone number for the Winston-
Salem office is 336-771-5000.
