Your assistance was appreciated as it facilitated the inspection process. The General Service Central Maintenance facility discharges stormwater to receiving waters designated as Pidgeon House Branch in the Neuse River Basin. The following observations were made: Review of your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SP3) revealed the following • The plan contained the required general location map that included outfall location and drainage areas. • Employee training documents were included in SP3. Last training was 12/30/2010. • List of responsible parties for Emergency. spill response notification- update accordingly • No spills were noted for the 3 year period as noted in the documentation in the manual. • Best Management Practices summary. • Permit was included in SP3 manual- Old version noted, replace with renewed permit. • Narrative description of practices dated 2003 needs updating. • Spill prevention and response plan 2. Qualitative Monitoring has been conducted on 5/2010 & 6/1/2010. It should be noted that monitoring should be spread out over a six month period. Semi-annual as per permit requirements. 3. Analytical Monitoring was conducted 6/1/2010 and 10/20/10 and were within benchmarks. None were noted for 2011 at the time of inspection. Enclosed for your review are the tasks that need to be Implemented under our Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP), and our best estimate of their implementation or completion dates. 1. Non-Stormwater Certification to be signed and dated by April 9, 2004. 2. Second Nan-Stormwater Discharge Assessment rind Certification for Outfalls 1 and 2 by April 23, 2004. 3.
