The site drains into an unnamed tributary Class C waters in the Yadkin River Basin. The site visit and file review revealed that the subject facility is covered by NPDES Stormwater General Permit NCG080000, Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during the inspection. Accordingly, the following observations were noted during the inspection: ].Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SPPP) Yes X No A SPPP had been developed in the past but it does not reflect the current operations at the facility. 2) Qualitative Monitoring Yes No X Qualitative monitoring has not been conducted and recorded in accordance with permit requirements. 3) Analytical Nlonitorin ~ Yes No X Analytical monitoring is not required on the discharge since the amount of motor oil used does not exceed the average of 55 gallons per month for the year. This discharge should cease or be connected to the city of vlarshville's sewer line for proper treatment. The report should be self-explanatory. Please be advised that violations of the NPDES General Permit are subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to $25,000.00 per day for each violation. Please respond to this letter in writing within 60 days as to the course of action that you plan to take to correct this discharge for our records.
