This letter is to notify the DWQ Regional Office that ATl Allvac — Monroe Site has collected the requested
analytical monitoring for zinc from the galvanized steel structures positioned in the drainage area for our
representative outfall. A sun -unary of the I", 2"d and 3`d zinc sampling values are below:

As we discussed on our phone call, we are not able to identify any trends in the summary of sampling.
Since the 3`d sampling event for our representative outfall showed unusually elevated levels when
compared to historical sampling, we feel these sampling results may have been a lab anomaly. Therefore,
we plan to take a 4ch sample and split them with our current lab and a second lab.
Again, we have implemented BMP's to control potential sources of zinc, such as oil and rubber from tire
wear. Our facility roads and parking lots are routinely cleaned and swept by an industrial service provider.
Also, we have routine preventative maintenance established on our mobile equipment to reduce hydraulic
oil leaks.
Since we do not have zinc in our products as stated in previous letters, Allvac requests to "monitor only"
for zinc to evaluate the effectiveness of our implemented BMP's. In the meantime, we plan to sample
again for zinc and split the analytical work between two laboratories.
