We just received this resubmittal – thank you! I wanted to make one correction to my email instructions below. Once the new COC is approved (which I will do today), the COC that should be rescinded is NCC190350 – not NCC190266. (That was another project that accidentally made the wrong selection). My apologies for the confusion because of the cut and paste! Best regards, Bethany Georgoulias Environmental Engineer Stormwater Program, Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources N.C. This resulted in a Certificate of Coverage for general permit NCG250000 (which is not available yet), instead of NCG010000, which is what applies to this project. You can see that the COC attached has an NC Reference No. that begins with “NCG25-“ instead of NCG01-” Unfortunately at the time of review, the wrong selection for question 16a. on the eNOI was overlooked. The answer should have been YES to question 16a. 1 We are writing to request that you resubmit a new eNOI to correct the type of permit coverage. It will require the following steps: 1) Request a new COC by filling out the eNOI application form at https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/NCG01-NOI 2) Use the attached original documents to upload (E&SC approval and Signed Certification). If you need to view your original NOI for other information, please go to this file link: NCC190350 COC File Be sure to keep the “Yes” selected for question 16a. 3) Once accepted as complete, you’ll receive an e-mail confirmation. That e-mail will have payment instructions, which you can disregard. The application fee will not apply for this re-submittal because this was our oversight, and your original application was submitted prior to this fee requirement. 4) After receiving the correct COC for this project, submit a Notice of Termination (NOT) request for the previous COC (No. NCC190266). That NOT request is at https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/NCG01-Termination We understand this is some extra work for you because we missed this question, but we would appreciate it if you could help resolve it. It will ensure that the data we send to EPA later this year is accurate for your project. We apologize for this oversight on the first submittal! Please contact me if you have any questions.
