The 15 -Day Record Drawing review for the Stony Fork Mitigation Site (SAW -2016-00875) ended September 5, 2019. Per
Section 332.8(0)(9) of the 2008 Mitigation Rule, this review followed the streamlined review process. All comments
received from the NCIRT are below. There were no objections to issuing the initial credit release. Please provide me with
a copy of the updated ledger.
During our review of the baseline monitoring report and record drawing, we noted that vegetation planting on the site
was completed on May 6th. This is outside of the normal planting window and not consistent with District guidance or
the approved mitigation plan, which states that woody vegetation planting will be conducted during dormancy. Please
note that if the year 1 monitoring report indicates any problems with vegetation performance, additional planting
and/or monitoring may be required.
