Everett Jordan & Son 1927-LLC Collection System WQCSDO188 Alamance County Dear Mr. Jordan: Ron Boone, of the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR), Winston-Salem Regional Office (WSRO), visited the B. Everett Jordan & Son 1927-LLC Collection System on August 20th, 2019, to perform a Compliance Evaluation Inspection (CEI). The assistance and cooperation of Mike Carson, operator of the collection system, was greatly appreciated. Details of the inspection are recorded on the attached EPA Water Compliance Inspection Report. You're reminded that, in accordance with NC General Statute 143-215.6A, failure to comply with all conditions of the NC regulations govern collection systems subjects the owner to civil penalties not to exceed $25,000.00 per violation, per day. We request that you reply to this correspondence in writing with 20 business days of receiving it. Please answer, in detail, the questions specifically listed in the summary section of the attached inspection report regarding the pump station's back up power source and your written operations and maintenance and spill plans.
