2 lane road with 10' travel lanes and 5.5' paved shoulder with total bridge length of 55 ft
and width of 33 ft (for bridge 413) and 80 It length and 33 ft width (for bridge 414).
2 lane road with 9' travel lanes and 3' paved shoulder with a total bridge length of 28 ft
4 in and with of 26 ft (for 413) and a length of 55 ft and width of 28 ft (for 414).

General Project Narrative:
(Description of Minimization of Water
Quality Impacts)
State Project involves the replacement of NCDOT Bridges 770413 and 770414 over Little Raft Swamp on SR 1323 in Robeson County. The existing structures for 770413 and
770414 include one 28 feet and 4 inch, span (2@14'2") and one 55 ft 4 span (1@14'3", 2@14', 1@14,3") precast and prestressed concrete cored slab concrete structures,
respectively. There are no existing deck drains on either bridge and the existing fillslopes are grassy. The proposed structures will be 1 span 55 ft 21-inch cored slab with an out
to out deck width of 33 ft and 4' caps and a 2 span 80' (1 @ 25', 1 @55') 21-inch cored slab bridge with an out to out deck width of 33 feet with 3:1 grassy fillslopes throughout the
project. The proposed bridges will maintain the existing level of service. There are two proposed outfalls on the begin of bridge 413 (both sides) and end of bridge 414 (both
sides) to allow proper drainage for the bridge and minimize disturbance in the surrounding wetland areas. Rip Rap outlet pads will be utilized to dissipate the flow and minimize
erosion. All proposed fill slopes are outside the wetland boundary to minimize disturbance in the surrounding wetland areas.
